Mary Ellen Dorey, CCA, RA, ABMP

Mary Ellen Dorey, Certified Clinical Aromatherapist, has been studying the European style of clinical aromatherapy since 2004. Her approach is based on customizing aromatherapy blends based on the client’s needs. Using very pure, authentic essential oils, Ms. Dorey creates cream and oil based formulas to address specific issues unique to each client.

She has recently launched a line of BodyCare, SkinCare and Wellness products, Dorey AromaTherapy, to soothe and nourish the whole body.

Using aromatherapy formulas, Mary Ellen also performs a unique European style of reflexology as well as ear candling (great for sinus and upper body congestion) and Reiki.

A product of the corporate world, Mary Ellen was in the fashion industry for three decades (she holds two degrees in Textiles and Fashion Design) and comes to aromatherapy after a lifelong quest for optimal health. Growing up with sick parents and siblings, Mary Ellen’s curiosity about why her family was sick when so many others were not caused her to delve into alternative therapies since college.

After trying many different forms of wellness, she focused on aromatherapy “because it works” says Ms. Dorey. “I like the way aromatherapy works in the body without harsh side effects. There is a subtly to it. It is gentle, tonifying, nourishing and complementary to other modalities. You definitely feel better”.
